The Nigeria Stability and Reconciliation Programme (NSRP) is a DFID supported project managed by a consortium of International agencies; British Council, International Alert and Social Development Direct. The programme seeks to deliver interventions to reduce the impacts of violent, conflicts and promote reconciliation processes. The focus of the project will be on the National level and in eight focal states.

NSRP is looking for committed and experienced individuals to join the competent team of professionals in this innovative and exciting programme:

Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Job Location: Abuja

Job Description

  • The Monitoring and Evaluation (M and E) Officer will provide support for the implementation and. management of all M and E activities at all Government levels and the programme regional offices.
  • S/he will be responsible for inventory management of programme intervention documents and provide support, for the preparation of relevant programme reports/ documents.
  • The M and E Officer will also manage all relationships with stakeholders and partners that will enhance programme delivery and effective feedback mechanism.
Qualifications:
  • Interested candidates should have a minimum of a University Degree in Social Sciences, Humanities or other related disciplines with an additional post graduate qualification in M and E.
  • S/he must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the development sector with at least 3 years’ experience actively involved in M and E activities within a development or a peace building project.
  • Previous experience and knowledge of research methodologies, M and E tools and data analysis is essential for this position.
  • Excellent communication, team building, negotiation, problem- solving and presentation skills are required.
