Under direct supervision, has basic knowledge and understanding of applicable science and technology through formal education. Possesses basic awareness of existing and emerging technology within focus area (s). Able to apply the accepted mainstay process under guidance. Understands individual value contribution to project teams. Effectively plans and manages own workload, under guidance, to meet desired service level targets. Is not usually involved in customer contacts and has no involvement in business development activities. Demonstrates appropriate objection handling capability and knows when/how to diplomatically escalate issues. Communication skills must include: effective verbal, written, and effective listening skills. Effectively manages their time to perform the accountabilities of their job. Job tasks, correctly performed, have minimal impact upon the viability of the organization. Error is readily ascertainable by the supervisor and can be corrected. Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in geo-science, engineering or business. This is an entry level role.
