Assistant Manager Planning & Forecasting

Job Purpose
To prepare relevant reports and plans in line with management guidelines aimed at providing direction to achieving overall business goals and performance measurement.
Key Accountabilities
Planning & Forecasting
  •     Collation and consolidation of functional   inputs for the preparation of monthly Flash & Forecast (F&F).
  •     Consolidation of Weekly Alignment report
  •     Consolidation of AOP Financials, based on   functional and Operational Inputs.
  •     Review of Monthly/Quarterly Analysis of   Variance.
Prepare & Update Long Term Business Projections
  •     Preparation of 3/5 year plan as   appropriate.
Commercial Decision Support
  •     Retail outlets profitability analysis
  •     Investment appraisals & analysis
  •     Business case evaluations & support
External Benchmarking
  •     Issue quarterly competitor financial analysis
  •     Competitor product and tariff benchmarking/market analysis
Monthly & Quarterly Reporting Packs
  •     Prepare monthly Flash & Forecast Deck
  •     Quarterly Review deck for Audit Committee.
Desired Skills and Experience
Educational Qualifications  & Functional / Technical Skills
  •     Graduate , Professional qualification in Accounting is an added   advantage
Relevant Experience
  •     4-6 years in FMCG & Telecoms
  •     In-depth knowledge of the telecoms industry.
  •     Strong data analytical skills
  •     Advanced Knowledge of SQL script writing and data mining techniques
  •     Proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel, Word & PPT
  •     Strong analytical, computational and communication skills
